White Citadel

This tower, once pure white (maintained by magic), it the HQ of The Brotherhood of Aithra.
The tower is gradually turning black, the top third is already dark as pitch.
Purpose
The tower and surrounding buildings are home to The Brotherhood of Aithra. It is their principal centre of study.
Defences
Strong magical defences combined with physical barriers.
History
Access is tightly controlled nowadays but in days past anyone was welcome at the library (access to the citadel itself was by invitation only).
