Dro'ghat

When a male Dragonborn of the Gullan reaches manhood (considered to be on their thirteenth birthday) they undertake the Dro'ghat, a three day trial in which they demonstrate to the Dro'mani their qualification to manhood, these include:
- Trial by combat
- Dragon handling
- Sound judgement
Trial by combat
In years gone by the candidate would face off against a captive of war. The Gullan in Goldrick have been at peace for many years so now the candidate faces off against a wild animal (typically a bear).
Dragon handling
The candidate must show skill in handling wyrmling and young dragons.
Sound judgement
This is a complex series of tests to ensure that the candidate understands their place in and responsibilities to Gullan society.
