Alwii

The Alwii is the name given by the Ulenii for the time when they exert influence among the Spheres of Existence to adjust them back into a harmonious balance.

The problem is that in attempting this realignment the Ulenii have virtually no appreciation for how their efforts are interpreted, so what they consider a reasonable action to achieve balance the denizens of a sphere may see as aggressive support for a sworn foe. To the Ulenii bolstering dark forces within a sphere is morally identical to bolstering light forces. The objective is balance, the notion of justice is foreign to the Ulenii as it requires subtle moral and ethical distinctions of which they simple have no conception.

This disjoint in perception is even greater when considering the balance between spheres. The denizens of the Shadow Sphere consider themselves morally superior to the Antochian Sphere (the contrary also holds), but to the Ulenii see absolutely no distinction.

Ironically, it is precisely this sort of 'meddling' that causes the ructions leading to the Dohloc.
